If you saw the sweater sleeve wreath I made, you know that I have the body of my old favorite sweater still lying around, waiting for some love. I thought it would actually make a cute vest, with a little fixing up around the edges.
So, I picked up a skein of similar, but not matching yarn and a yarn needle, and set to work!
First, I tied a knot at the starting point under the armpit.
Then I just started stitching around the arm hole to cover up the rough edges. I made diagonal stitched one way around, then came back around with opposite stitches. When I was back at the armpit, I just tied off the end the same way I started.
I think it finished up the sleeve pretty nicely!
Tune in tomorrow for part two and see the completed project!
